For us, the Palmwood is that magical place where everyone you know has a great childhood memory. It is ground zero for both the most tragic and most inspiring historical events in your community. The Palmwood is that place, in a small beach town where the creators of this company grew up. When someone said, “I’m going down to the Palmwood,” they were referring to a general waterfront area that included a beach, public park, marina, or a little waterfront restaurant called The Palmwood. Over time, the whole area became a landmark and the easiest way to name
where you were. So, if you said “We’re heading down to the Palmwood” everyone knew where you were going. For many people, it meant the restaurant but for others it meant they were going surfing, swimming, fishing, for a picnic, to watch a sunset, watch a sunrise or even to watch an outdoor concert. Those memories both past and future are the fabric that form the stories of our lives and the PALMWOOD brand.
